Alpine Skiing

on the Arlberg

Skiing in Lech am Arlberg is more than a pleasure – it is a way of life, and you are at the very heart of it! At the Cresta.Alpin.Sport.Hotel, you will be staying in sunny, car-free Oberlech, right next to the slopes and at the heart of all the skiing action. Right outside your front door lies one of Austria’s largest skiing regions, with a long tradition in alpine skiing. To this day, Ski Arlberg attracts guests with its unrivalled variety and outstanding quality.

The Arlberg: cradle of alpine skiing

In Lech am Arlberg, we have been skiing since time immemorial: Since 1885, this small village in Austria has grown into one of the most popular winter sports resorts in the Alps. In 1901, six friends who were passionate skiers founded the renowned Skiclub Arlberg, synonymous with the birth of alpine skiing, which was to write sporting history. To date, the Skiclub is alive and kicking with numerous members from all over the world. With good reason! The Arlberg is after all one of the most exclusive, comfortable and multi-faceted ski regions in Austria. This is skiing at its absolute best!

Outstanding quality as a tradition

Skiing and the Arlberg are intrinsically linked, today as much as in times long gone. The tradition of high-quality skiing lives on, always with a keen eye on the latest trends. Professional ski instructors in Lech set worldwide quality standards in this top resort in the Alps, not just when it comes to skiing, but also for snowboarding and other winter sports. Children and beginners are introduced to the basics in a playful way, while more experienced skiers have the opportunity of improving their technique, and snowboarders and freestylers can work on their latest feats under competent guidance. When it comes to service, quality and size, this ski resort at the Arlberg keeps improving its offer to ensure that it remains at the very top of its game.

Alpine skiing is not the only experience that the Arlberg has in store. Ski trekkers and freeriders can look forward to 200 km of pristine deep-snow runs away from the pistes – with the right equipment and under the watchful eye of experienced ski guides who ensure that safety always comes first.

In compliance with all the rules, you will experience powder snow moments on the Arlberg that will stay with you forever, as close to nature as it gets.
